Since it was put into production and application in 2018, with its small median particle size, large temperature ranges of particle softening and deformation in drilling fluid, nano-polyester NP-1 has been greatly praised by customers for excellent field application that it not only has good plugging performance, but also reduces filtration significantly. Its salt and calcium resistance ability, median particle size and deformation characteristics enable it to enter the pores of mud shale formation to prevent formation from the invading of the moisture and drilling fluid, hence nano-polyester NP-1 plays an important role in stabilizing the well wall.
In order to further optimize the parameters and improve the product performance, R & D technicians introduce advanced equipment from Germany to optimize the median particle size of the product from original 900nm to about 300nm in order to get better adaptability, plugging performance and filter loss reduction ability. It marks another major progress in product research and development of the company that will certainly better solve the problem of shaft wall stability for customers.
