Product Description
FF-II is compounded by natural asphalt and composite surfactant. Because it is manufactured with a special process, the contained asphalt is far higher than sulfonated asphalt and emulsified asphalt. Therefore, it has a good sealing effect.
FF-II dispersing in the drilling fluid can adsorbed on the surface of the shale to form a thin and tough, hydrophobic film with small permeability; Moreover, the dispersing FF-II can also block the throat and micro-fracture under the action of the differential pressure. Therefore, it can prevent the filtrate from invading into formation. Cationic group of FF-II has good inhibitory effect, so it can effectively prevent shale from hydration swelling or peeling off the wall and stabilize the borehole. Its common dosage is 3.5 - 10.5ppb.
